Uncaged Goal Tracker Rules

Rule 1: Wake up on time / No Snooze Button

   We are working on your self control. Everyone wants to hit the snooze button and stay in the cozy bed, but we have shit to do, and no one is going to do it for us. DO NOT hit that snooze button, wake up and get the day going when your alarm goes off.

Rule 2: Devotion / Meditation

   This does not have to be a religious activity, but it is for your soul. Prayer, Devotion, Meditation, Affirmations, Declarations, Visualization, Cold Plunge, Sauna whatever you connect with. The objective of this step is becoming appreciative and have gratitude for who you are and where you have come from, as well as where you are going, and what you are working for. 

Rule 3: Read (Personal or Professional Development)

   We understand that we all have busy lives, so we are not going to give you a set amount of pages to read. However the only rule is it needs to be something that helps with your Personal or Professional Development. Some days you will have time to read a whole chapter or two, and some only a few pages. No matter what, we want to exercise the brain and read some developmental books. We suggest alternating books from personal development to professional development as you complete each book. 

Rule 4: No Social Media until after Devotion/Read

   The main objective of this is to make sure that you put something positive into your soul and brain BEFORE you ever let the outside influence of the world dictate your mood. Most of us are actively cleaning up the people around us with like-minded people, but there is still opportunities for negativity to creep through if you haven’t started your day off centered in positivity. 

Rule 5: Profit Producing Critical Task

   Here at Uncaged we understand the importance of completing 5 Critical Tasks each day. We however have taken it a little further to prioritize one as something that is Profit Producing. This could be to send the invoice, make a post on social media with a Call To Action, Sending an Email to your list with a Call To Action, Following Up with your Prospects, Building a Proposal, Calling overdue accounts etc. We don’t care what you do, but the focus needs to be bringing more money to your bottom line.

Rule 6: Forward Progressing Critical Task

   Again, as part of the 5 Critical Tasks we believe you should be completing every day, one of which needs to be “Forward Progressing”. This means it is something that will eventually lead to a monumental goal for you or your business. Examples of this could be (Starting a Podcast), maybe one day it’s researching the best mic to use, the next day it’s finding the perfect camera, maybe it is ordering your back drop, purchasing the cables you need. Or (Writing a Book) one day might be build the outline, the next could be writing the forward, shit, one day may be finding someone to write the forward, maybe its researching a publisher, or it could be writing chapter 3. Whatever it is, it needs to be propelling yourself to the next level, whatever that looks like for you in this exact moment, because “When you stop growing, you start dying.”

Rule 7, 8, & 9: Critical Task #3, #4, & #5

   These Critical Tasks will be filled in with any other major task that needs to be completed each day, these critical tasks can be the same for a few days in a row until the project is complete, or maybe they will work chronologically together, but once something becomes a part of your normal routine, it is no longer a critical task. Critical tasks can be something your client emailed you that needs to be completed, it could be something an employee needs access to, it can be a task that you as the owner needs to just sit down and strategize about with no distractions. The objective of these Critical Tasks, including Profit Producing and Forward Progressing is that you do not allow anything to derail you from completing them. If a fire starts in your business while you are working on these tasks, you promise to get it completed by end of day today, or have it to them before they check their email tomorrow, however you operate. However Critical Tasks are NON NEGOTIABLE. In order to move the needle, you have got to stay on task. If the fire that started is not that time sensitive, guess what you do with that problem? It goes to tomorrow’s critical task! 

 

Elite Note: The best hack for Critical Tasks, is having them all pre planned and written out the day before. This allows you to wake up, and get straight into working efficiently without having to think about what needs to be completed. 

Rule 10: Post to your Network

   In today’s age, most will use this as a time to post on their Social Media Networks. This is massively effective, but this can also be to send an email to your email list. This could even be to send some of your network a text message. What we are looking for here is to stay top of mind with the people who will possibly be your future clients, or referral partners. Staying active within your network will have a direct impact on your personal and professional life. 

Rule 11: Stick to Diet

   We don’t care what diet you get on, we don’t care if you count MACROs and eat whatever you want, we just want you focused on your physical health, because what you put into your body is what will come out of it. We are learning to be cognizant of the quality of care we have for our one and only body. This is going to include your water intake as well, making sure you are hitting your water consumption goals, no matter if that’s a maintenance level, a gallon a day, or a water fast, the objective is to make sure we are consuming more fluids and electrolytes than we expel so that we can run as efficiently as possible. 

Rule 12: Went to the Gym / Exercised

   It doesn’t matter if you go to a gym and lift weights, do calisthenics, workout in the living room at home, do outdoor cardio, go swimming, or go for a walk. The objective here is to make sure that you are focusing on your personal health. Some days you will only be able to workout for 30 minutes, and some days you’ll be in there for 2 hours, we don’t care. The point is to do it and be intentional about it. The gym is focused to help with your physical and mental health, and if you try and cheat or skip this step, you will suffer for it. 

Rule 13: Looked at your Money

   Look at your bank accounts, check on an investment, call your Financial Advisor, Pull up your Credit Card Processor, Look at your P&L, it doesn’t matter. As long as it has a $ sign and is your money, We want you looking at it on a daily basis. “What gets measured gets managed.” If you are not tracking the money coming in and the money going out, we promise you, you are setting yourself up for a bad situation. It doesn’t matter if your have $1 in the bank, or $1,000,000. LOOK AT YOUR MONEY DAILY… Part of this is to motivate you to keep it growing, and the other is to make sure that you stop any bleeding before it becomes a problem. 

Rule 14: Connected with Spouse/Child/Friend

   We are HUGE on building the relationship with your family. If you are married, you should be connecting with your Wife EVERY DAY. It doesn’t have to be extravagant acts, but small gestures to be intentional with the love of your life. This also needs to be happening with your children as well. As your kids grow, there will be moments in their life that you don’t remember the absence of love and appreciation, but they will, so be intentional with them daily. Now, if you aren’t married or have children, you need to be connecting with one friend or family member daily. It doesn’t matter who it is but as humans we need to build and nurture these relationships as we grow as people. Be intentional with the relationships you have, and do not allow anyone to allow toxicity into your relationships, or you cut it off. You protect these relationships and never stop connecting with those you love. 

Rule 15: Do a Chore for your Spouse

   If you truly want to be the best Husband you can be, it’s about noticing the little things our wives do for us daily without notice. What better way to not only notice them but show our appreciation for those acts of service, than to take some of the workload off of them. This could be chores that are typically your job that have to be asked or reminded to do, or ones that are typically done by your spouse. This doesn’t have to be anything crazy, although the bigger the chore we are sure the more weight it takes off your wife. Take out the trash, do the dishes, make the bed, sweep the kitchen, whatever it is, do it with love and intentionality. Be there for the one you love, and show up daily for them.

Rule 16: Worked on your #1 BAP

   We all have a Big Ass Problem we are facing in our lives. One of the big exercises we do is work through our Big Ass Problems with our Brothers, however just talking about them doesn’t solve them. You have to put a plan in place and then start accomplishing that goal. Typically when we work through our list of problems, and then prioritize them and find what our #1 BAP is, as you start to work through solving it, and actually fix the problem, other things lower on your list start to solve themselves. However, this is an ever changing process. As you finish working on your #1 BAP, there will be a next “#1 BAP” that we need to work on. The beautiful thing about this process is that, yes, in life things will go wrong, and we have a huge problem we need to resolve, but as you start prioritizing solving your Big Ass Problems, the issues will get smaller and smaller, and your life starts to get more and more peaceful. So, no matter what, we must always be working to resolve our #1 BAP.

   This program gives you a TON of leeway. DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT. We are here to push you and hold you accountable to your goals, but if you bullshit the system, you will be the one to suffer. Not only will you miss the very purpose of this entire program, but everyone will be able to tell… and if you are willing to lie about your goals and accomplishments, none of the real ones will ever take you seriously. We all fall short sometimes, but it’s not about how many times we get knocked down, it’s how many times we get up… and if you see a brother starting to struggle, pull them up with you. We are here to surround ourselves with like minded men and focus on getting 1% better every day… That very person you encourage to keep going, may be the one to pick you up when you are down in the future.

Scoring

How to Earn Points:

  • +1 point for every task you complete
  • +5 points for every day they log your non negotiables
  • + 10 points for every 10 days they hit with no breaks 
  • + +5 points for starting back after 1 day off 
  • + +3 points for starting back after 2-3 days 
  • + +1 points for starting back after 4-5 days
  • + 25 points for every referral 
  • + 5 points for every Social Share of your Daily Win 

+1 point for every task you complete

Every task you complete will earn you 1 point. You must complete your non negotiables every day to win the day, and the remaining tasks are extra point opportunities, and will help you separate from the average.

+5 points for every day they log your non negotiables

Every day that you log your non negotiable results as completed you will get 5 points.

+10 points for every 10 days they hit with no breaks

For every running 10 days that you hit with no breaks, you will get an extra 10 point bonus.

++5 points for starting back after 1 day off

If you fall off the bandwagon, and get right back on, you will receive +5 points. This system is set up to incentivize you to get back on the ball as quickly as possible. Don’t let your bitch voice tell you that you can start back on Monday, or on the 1st of the Month, or any other excuse it tells you. Start back tomorrow, and receive a 5 point bonus for getting back in the saddle.

++3 points for starting back after 2-3 days

The longer you take to get back in the game, the less points you get for starting back, and will even start costing you points. The objective here is to get you back incentivized to making progress as quickly as possible.

++1 points for starting back after 4-5 days

This is your last change to get your shit together before your lack of discipline starts to cost you your hard earned points. Don’t let that happen, get back in there.

How to Lose Points:

  • – – 1 point per day for starting back after 6+ days
    – – 2 points if they wait til day 7
  • – – 3 points if they wait til day 8
  • – – 4 points if they wait til day 9
  • – – 5 points if they wait til day 10
  • etc.

At this point for every day that you don’t get back to hitting your non negotiables at the very least, you will lose 1 point per day and it will compound. For example on day 6 you will lose 1 point, on day 7 you will lose two points, day 8 will be 3 points, day 9 will be 4, day 10 will be 5 points taken from you. So on and so forth.
